COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROJECTS:

WE BELIEVE THAT BUSINESS CANNOT EXIST INDEPENTLY OF ITS COMMUNITY. IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD WE MUST CONTINUE TO GIVE BACK AND IT IS OUR COMMITMENT TO SERVE NOT JUST OUR CUSTOMERS BUT OUR COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT AS WELL. IF YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT YOU THINK WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.

WE INVITE YOU TO TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE RECENT PROJECTS WE HAVE DEVELOPED IN OUR AREA:
FEED MY TOWN PROJECT
The small west-central town of Hogansville, Georgia has a problem hidden beneath its quaint, antebellum exterior; Hunger. The volunteer-driven organizations that have quietly worked for years to alleviate the issue are having trouble meeting demand. The local food bank “God’s Bread Basket” and town’s Senior Center serve a combined two-thousand meals per month to community members in need. When we became aware of the issue shortly after relocating to the picturesque community from Southern California, we enlisted the help of some local community members and began to design a sustainable program we call “Feed My Town”. We are currently in the process of documenting our steps in hopes that others may be able to recreate our success in their own small towns.
SOUTHERN ANALOG
Aware that education budgets have been widely cut for Arts programs, we designed a project that we thought might help. The idea was to offer students an opportunity to apply their art interest towards a design project with the hope of not only opening their minds to the possibility of design as a career, but also to raise money for the purchase classroom art supplies. Providing local high school students with lomographic cameras and film, we sent them out to capture a portrait of their community. They returned with a powerful collection of images that we have turned into a book to be sold locally as a fundraiser for their classroom.
